Boys’ volleyball: Sheriff resigns as Chatsworth coach

Jonathan Sheriff has resigned after one season as boys’ volleyball coach at Chatsworth to spend more time with his family, Athletic Director Mike Immken said Thursday. Sheriff will continue to coach the girls’ team.

Chatsworth was seeded No. 1 in the City Section Championship Division but was upset by No. 16 Birmingham on Tuesday.
