Raffles, goodie bag and baseball. Oh my.

I’m here at Casey Stengel Field for the Arcadia-Crescenta Valley Pacific League ‘championship game’ and it’s CV fan appreciation night. The announcer, to my right, is reading raffle ticket winners in between innings and the booster club, to my left, pictured, is giving away goodie bags. Just another reason to come to Glendale to check out the game.

CV came closes to scoring in the first inning but left the bases loaded. The Falcons loaded the bases again in the second inning, with one out, but Arcadia’s Bryce Rutherford struck out two to get out of the inning unharmed.

The score is 0-0 heading into the third.
