Arrived at Carpinteria High for the Southern Section-Toyota Division IV preliminaries a bit early this afternoon, only to find out that wireless access was going to be limited. Fear not. I still plan on gathering as much information as possible and checking in with results frequently.

The afternoon is shaping up well, I might add. James Kennedy of Gardena Serra is the talk of the meet so far. He is, after all, the defending champion in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles. On the girls’ side, St. Mary’s Academy’s London Finley is creating quite a buzz too. Stay tuned.
