Andrew Sarawasi is hoping to make up for a missed opportunity at the City Individual doubles tournament, which begins Tuesday. After losing in the finals last spring with freshman Jeffrey Yun, the junior from Carson has another partner, Sammy Macias, and they are seeded No. 1 out of 56 teams. Sarawasi and Macias got the nod over Alex Freeman and Aaron Teitelbaum of City champion Taft. Freeman and Teitelbaum were undefeated in 16 matches this season.

Matt Goodman and Jeremy Shore of City runner-up Palisades are seeded third and fellow Dolphins Ren Nielsen and Kyung Choi are fourth. Dom Plata and Evan Kopel of Granada Hills are seeded fifth. Plata reached the semifinals last year with Zach Katz. Rounding out the eight seeded teams (all of which get first-round byes) are Ramon DeVilla and Bevis Tran (Eagle Rock), Robert Chew and Greg Fukushima (Venice) and Brian Feldman and Julius Nazareno (L.A. Marshall).
