Football: Golper a nominee to play in Army All-American game

Arcadia linebacker Todd Golper, who lists Pat Tillman as a hero on his MySpace page, has been selected one of 472 nominees for the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He is the only one from the San Gabriel Valley to be invited, so far. He had 11 sacks last season and committed to UCLA in March.

Of the nominees, 90 will be selected to play in the game on Jan. 3 in San Antonio. It will be broadcast live on NBC.
