State leader Karynn Dunn of Diamond Ranch won the Division III title in the girls’ long jump Saturday at the Southern Section-Toyota Championships, but it was Alycia Herring who turned in the day’s longest leap.

Herring won the Division I title by going 20 feet, three-quarters of an inch, a little more than six inches farther than runnerup Heather Pilcher of Lynwood, who went 19-6.

Dunn is the state leader at 20-2.

Ashtynn Baltimore of Marlborough won the Division IV title. Latijera Avery of Culver City was the Division II champion at 18-2 1/4, which wasn’t enough to qualify her for Friday’s Masters Meet.
