Long Beach Poly and Rancho Cucamonga were the only girls’ 1,600-relay teams that broke the 3:50 barrier as they finished 1-2 in the Division I race of the Southern Section-Toyota Championships at Mt. SAC on Saturday.

Poly clocked 3:43.57, almost four seconds slower than it ran at the Penn Relays on April 24 to set the state standard this season.
