Former big league pitcher Jack Morris is an alumnus of this college. Politico Mitt Romney graduated from there as well. Which school am I talking about?

Here’s a big clue -- NFL great Steve Young also attended this institution. Now, you know right? Brigham Young.

It’s also where West Torrance’s Marc Oslund has signed a national letter of intent to play college baseball. He has signed on as a pitcher but will also keep swinging the bat.

‘It is a place where I can grow as a student, as an athlete, and as a person. I’m going to be able to come in right away and compete for a spot on a team that has no seniors, great talent, and a huge upside. I know I’ll be able to make a big impact on the team,’ Oslund told the Breeze.

By the way, West Torrance (26-3) is playing Placentia Valencia (21-7) in the Southern Section-Toyota Division II second round at the moment. I’ll get you a score and update later tonight.
