Boys’ tennis: Eagles up big in Division III semifinal

Brentwood is two sets away from advancing to the Southern Section-Toyota Division III finals.

The top-seeded Eagles lead fifth-seeded Santa Monica, 8-4, heading into the final rotation of Round Robin. This is a re-match of their early-season meeting, which Brentwood won 10-8.

Walker Kehrer and Chris Lord have each won their first two singles sets for Brentwood. Santa Monica must win at least five of the last six sets to have a chance of winning. If the match ends 9-9, the team with the most total games won is the winner.
