Game 2 in the Southern Section-Toyota Division I semifinals was a thrill ride.

It was a battle that saw Loyola take a four-point lead. It was one that had eight ties. It was also one that had another booming kill from Dylan Kordic to end it. Mira Costa, which tied the game at 19, then went on a 6-1 run, won this round, 25-20.

Let’s see if the Mustangs can pull off the sweep. Game 3 is starting in mere seconds here at Redondo High, just as the Mira Costa student section finishes up singing Bon Jovi’s ‘Living on a Prayer.’
