Boys’ volleyball: Santa Barbara showing signs of life with Game 2 win

To say Santa Barbara had revenge on its mind heading into Wednesday’s Southern Section-Toyota Division II semifinal against Corona del Mar would be an understatement. The Dons, after all, have lost the previous three encounters between the programs -- twice a season ago and once in 2006.

However, it appears as if Santa Barbara is on the verge of finally figuring things out. After losing the first game, 25-16, the Dons bounced back, narrowly winning the second game, 26-24. It will be interesting to see if they can feed off the momentum and reverse their losing trend.
