Track and field: Dorsey’s Moore will be in action soon

Rahim Moore is one of the top football prospects on the West Coast, and the nation, for that matter. That said, it will be interesting to see how the senior from Dorsey does out of his comfort zone, without pads and a helmet, during Thursday’s City Section championships at Birmingham High.

Moore, a safety who committed to UCLA, will compete in the 400 meters, an event in which Carson’s Jonathan Byrd is considered the favorite, based on his 48.28 time in the City preliminaries. Moore will also run a leg on the relay teams for the Dons.
