Get charged up -- there’s going to be a brouhaha in the South Bay.

West Torrance -- the Bay League champion and winner of 15 consecutive games -- will play host to El Toro, which won the Sea View League crown, in the Southern Section-Toyota Division II quarterfinals at 3:15 Friday.

The Warriors (27-3) will send their left-handed ace to the mound: Kyle Petter (12-0), who will play at Cal State Fullerton next season. Curious to see how Petter unplugs the electric bats of the Chargers (22-7), specifically Nolan Arenado (.461 average, four homers and 28 RBIs) and Michael Barnhill (four home runs, 23 RBIs).
