Boys’ tennis: Most matches get played in Seal Beach before rain arrives

Most matches were completed but two in singles were being played when rain halted play Friday at the Southern Section-Toyota individual championships.

The matches will resume Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at the Seal Beach Tennis Center. Doubles semifinals will start at 11 a.m. as scheduled. Singles semifinals will start 45 minutes after the two remaining quarterfinal matches end.

In the matches that were interrupted, Andre Dome of Arroyo Grande was up, 6-2, 1-0, on Jason Lin of Irvine University and Torsten Keil-Long of Claremont was up, 7-5, 3-2, on Justin Thompson of Troy.
