Boys’ tennis: Thousand Oaks’ Lin and Giron talk about their win

One look at Marcos Giron, 14, and Denis Lin, 16, and you have to ask yourself, how old are they? Old enough, apparently.

Giron, a freshman, and Lin, a junior, the youngest tandem at the Southern Section-Toyota individual championships, became the first doubles champions from Thousand Oaks on Saturday at the Seal Beach Tennis Center. Here’s an interview with the two after they beat top-seeded Tyler Bowman and Jon Kazarian of Peninsula, 6-4, 6-3, in the finals.
