Baseball: Narbonne’s beating Cleveland in the fifth inning

The crowd is boisterous. The game is tense. And Narbonne is beating Cleveland, 2-1, in the fifth inning of the City Section Championship Division semifinals at the Gauchos’ home field.

Narbonne’s Carlos Avila has scored both of his team’s runs. He doubled in the first inning, then scored on a sacrifice fly. After his single in the third inning, he scored on a two-base throwing error by the catcher on a steal attempt of second base.
