Boys’ tennis: All even in Division II after one round

Palm Desert and Diamond Bar are tied at 3-3 after one round of play in the Southern Section-Toyota Division II team finals.

Led by Victor Chien’s 6-0 win over Tyler McDonald, Diamond Bar won two of its three singles matches. Palm Desert countered by winning two of three doubles, but could have won all three as the duo of Christian Cox and Connor Blalock just missed out on beating Philip Joxan and Tom Derick, 5-7.
