Second-seeded El Camino Real drew first blood against San Pedro in the City Section Championship Division title game Wednesday at UCLA, but the top-seeded Pirates quelled the bleeding quickly.

San Pedro’s Kailee Cuico homered to lead off the bottom of the second inning, her seventh of the season, to tie the score, 1-1.
