Just a reminder: Time is running out before second-seeded Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and South Hills square off in the Southern Section-Toyota Division III championship game Thursday afternoon at 4:30 at Dodger Stadium. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and children.

It should be one heck of a game. Notre Dame (26-4) is the favorite with ace Nik Rodarte on the mound, and is looking to win its first section title. South Hills (23-5), however, has defied its underdog billing this postseason and multi-talented starting pitcher Derek Klena figures to play a key role in the Huskies’ quest for a sixth division title.

We’ll have inning-by-inning updates on the Varsity Times Insider blog.

Also, stick around for the late game at Dodger Stadium, where top-seeded Redlands East Valley (26-3) plays El Toro (24-7) for the Division II title at 7:30.
