Basketball: King senior makes Wise decision about his future

It’s official, the recruiting process is over for Eric Wise. The 6-foot-6 senior forward from Riverside King committed to UC Irvine, choosing the Anteaters despite the fact that he’d been receiving interest from several programs within the Big West Conference.

“Eric has been a key player for one of the outstanding teams in Southern California,” UC Irvine coach Pat Douglass said. “Due to his intensity and ability, he is able to score on post players or quick, perimeter players. He has a bright future at the collegiate level.”
