Softball: Another all-star game belongs to Reids

Kennedy twins Jamia and Elia Reid had another big night of all-star play as they, and teammate Allee Allen, led the North to a 5-2 victory over the South Tuesday in the Soroptimist International of Brea/La Habra All-Star game.

Jamia Reid was selected the game’s MVP after getting three hits, scoring three runs and stealing a base.

Allen hit a home run and pitched two scoreless innings, according to the Register’s account of the game.

The third all-star game in three nights for Orange County players, the Coaches’ All-Star game, takes place Wednesday at Barber Park in Irvine. It’s set to begin at 6:45 p.m.
