Baseball: Grahovac to leave Orange Lutheran for Concordia U.

Mike Grahovac, who led Orange Lutheran to the quarterfinals of the Southern Section-Toyota Division I baseball championships this season, told the Register that he is leaving his position to take over as coach at Concordia University in Irvine.

The Lancers (23-6) won the Trinity League title and finished No. 3 in The Times’ final regular-season rankings. They were the second-seeded team in the playoffs but lost to Norco, 1-0.

Before taking over at Orange Lutheran, Grahovac served as an assistant coach at Orange Coast College for seven years.
