Just got back from watching a pretty entertaining summer league game between Campbell Hall and Simi Valley and I must say, Austin McBroom was impressive. The sophomore-to-be point guard stole the show with his heady play and accurate jump shot, although his team, the Vikings, came up short in a 63-60 loss.

Campbell Hall coach Terry Kelly, and his assistant, Paul Tait, have got to be thankful that this kid is going to be around for another three years, especially when considering the fact that Jrue Holiday graduated and is heading to UCLA. It appears as if McBroom is fully capable of being the next star for the Vikings.
