Busy weekend for high school sports

It’s another weekend of nonstop action in high school sports.
The Bonita passing tournament that includes UCLA-bound quarterback Richard Brehaut of Los Osos and Tennessee-bound quarterback Josh Nunes of Upland takes place Friday and Saturday in La Verne. Hart and Carson are also entered.
The San Bernardino passing tournament featuring Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Oaks Christian, among many others, will be held Friday and Saturday at a park complex off the 210 Freeway and Citrus Avenue in Fontana. The final is at 9 p.m. Saturday.
The Conejo Valley passing tournament is Friday and Saturday at Westlake, Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks.
The L.A. Fiesta Bowl, featuring recent graduates from Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley, takes place Saturday at 4 p.m. at Los Angeles Wilson, matching the City Section against the Southern Section.
In boys’ basketball, the Fairfax tournament holds its semifinals Saturday night at 7 and 8:30, and its final at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday.
