Football: Washington hopes Price is right for St. John Bosco senior

Nobody is perfect, not even me, and I can admit a mistake when it happens. So I’m offering a humble apology to Keith Price of St. John Bosco for leaving him off this list of the top uncommitted quarterback prospects from the Southland. If anyone deserves to be mentioned among the best of the rest, it’s he.

Apparently, the coaching staff at Washington agrees. In fact, Coach Tyrone Willingham & Co. think so highly of Price that they offered the 6-foot-2 senior a scholarship, his first from a Pac-10 Conference program. For those interested in reading what he had to say about the Huskies, click here.

Nevada is the only other school with a deal on the table, but that doesn’t necessarily mean others aren’t interested. San Diego State, Utah and Washington State have inquired about Price, and a trip to Louisville could be in the works. However, my gut tells me Washington is the front-runner for a commitment.
