Joe Burton, a 6-foot-8, 285-pound center from Hemet West Valley, got to face UCLA-bound 6-9 Brendan Lane of Rocklin on Wednesday in the Adidas Super 64.
‘Yeah, I was fired up,’ Burton said.
Burton scored 23 points and Roberto Nelson from Santa Barbara added 16 points to help the Compton Magic beat EBO, 76-71. Lane scored 18 points.
