Football: For once, City coaches are perfect

For the first time in memory, every City Section football coach from 11-man schools was represented at a mandatory coaches’ meeting earlier this month.

If any had failed to attend, the head coach would have been banned from coaching in the first game of the season as punishment.

That’s progress and means the coaches are paying attention.
