Football: Edison wins big on Maui

Edison was the first California prep football team to open the 2008 football season, as the Chargers defeated Wailuku (Hawaii) Lahainaluna, 43-10, last night on Maui.
Matt Viles threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns for the Chargers, according to the Maui News. Edison’s defense held the Lunas to 96 total yards and didn’t allow a touchdown.
