Football: Redell talks about QB decision

On Saturday morning, after Oaks Christian held its first practice with Nick Montana as the starting quarterback, Coach Bill Redell discussed the decision he and his offensive staff made in choosing the junior transfer from Concord De La Salle over senior Tony Macarena, a transfer from Ventura St. Bonaventure.

Redell indicated it was a close decision but he liked Montana’s mobility and judgment. He said Macarena will still have an opportunity to play. Here’s the one-minute interview:
