Antonio Crews intercepted a pass off the hands of Mater Dei’s Ario Winston and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown, giving Carson a 14-12 lead over Mater Dei.
The Colts are gaining confidence. Sophomore linebacker D.J. Afusia had a terrific tackle right before the interception of quarterback Matt Barkley.
