Baseball: Taft begins search for new coach

Athletic Director Mark Drucker of Taft confirmed Tuesday that he has begun a search for a new baseball coach after the resignation of Chuck Berrington, who will replace Scott Drootin at Newbury Park.
Berrington was credited with rebuilding the Toreadors’ program after years of neglect. Taft made it to the City Section Championship Division playoffs last season and returns a large number of key players.
