Football: It’s second quarter, and the scoring continues

There’s good news in the Mater Dei-Centennial game. The first punt occurred in the first quarter by Centennial. But it’s the second quarter now, and the scoring has resumed.

Arthur Burns plunged in from the one-yard line on fourth-and-goal with 10:53 left in the second quarter for Centennial. The two-point conversion attempt failed, so it’s Centennial 26, Mater Dei 21. Let’s just say there’s plenty more scoring to come.
