Boys’ basketball: Beverly Hills names basketball coach

Derek Boldon, a former assistant at Pasadena City College who played at Central Michigan in the 1980s, has been named boys’ basketball coach at Beverly Hills. He replaces Luis Turcios, who left for a position coordinating basketball camps in Mexico.
