Football: Bowens makes debut for Bishop Amat

UCLA-bound linebacker Isaiah Bowens of Bishop Amat made his season debut Friday, playing about half the game against Diamond Ranch.

“He looked rusty and out of shape,” Coach Steve Hagerty said.

Bowens had been sidelined since June with a broken foot.
