An interception by Jullien Herrera deep in Los Alamitos territory gave Edison the opening it needed in the first quarter, and quarterback Matt Viles took advantage, completing a four-yard touchdown pass to William Andrew, giving the Chargers a 7-0 lead in their Sunset League game Thursday night at Long Beach Veterans Stadium.’

Edison is ranked No. 6 by The Times. Los Alamitos is No. 22.
