Football: Long Beach Poly starts with a bang

It’s a battle of unbeatens tonight in the Moore League, with Long Beach Poly (8-0) taking on Compton (7-0). But things did not start well for Compton.

Compton lost the ball on a fumble on the opening kickoff, and Kameron Jackson picked it up and ran 17 yards for a touchdown. Poly’s Melvin Richardson ran in the two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead.
