Girls’ golf: N.H. sophomore wins City title

Monica Petchkan, a sophomore golfer at North Hollywood, won the City Section girls’ individual title Wednesday by shooting a one-under-par 72 at Balboa Golf Course.

She became the first golfer in school history to win the City title.

Van Nuys won the team title.
