Anaheim Servite’s 48-31 victory over No. 13 Bellflower St. John Bosco put the Friars in a three-way tie in the Trinity League Standings with No. 8 Orange Lutheran and No. 5 Mater Dei.

Servite sports information director Bill Knudson said the three co-champions will decide their seedings by two coin flips Saturday morning, although he wasn’t sure where it would take place. The first coin toss will eliminate the odd-man out, he said, followed by another flip between the two remaining teams.

The three teams have identical league records at 4-1. On Thursday, Orange Lutheran (8-2, 4-1) defeated Mater Dei (7-3, 4-1). But last month, No. 16 Anaheim Servite (7-3, 4-1) beat Lutheran.

Earlier in the season, Mater Dei won against Anaheim Servite, creating a tie-breaker that can’t be decided by head-to-head matchups.

If the coin flip goes in the Friar’s favor, it would be their fourth straight league title.

Friars running back Gregory Portis ran for 232 yards on 34 carries with four rushing touchdowns.

Braves (7-2, 2-3) quarterback Keith Price went 14-of-28- for 192 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. He also had 14 carries for 117 yards and one touchdown.
