Football: Birmingham’s Flournoy is ready to go

There’s good news for Birmingham.

USC-bound De’Von Flournoy will play in Wednesday’s City Championship Division quarterfinal playoff game against Narbonne.

The senior receiver-cornerback left in the second quarter against Garfield on Thursday with a bruised shoulder. He has gotten better each day this week, Coach Ed Croson said.
