Football: Crenshaw leads at halftime, 19-13

It was quite a first half in this City Section quarterfinal game, with Crenshaw coming away with a 19-13 halftime lead over L.A. Jordan.

DeAnthony Thomas scored on an 18-yard run with just over five minutes left in the second quarter to break a 13-13 deadlock.

Jordan stopped Crenshaw on the one-inch line with 56 seconds left on fourth-and-goal in what could be a key play if the Bulldogs are able to rally.

James Boyd of Jordan has completed nine of 18 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns.
