End of First Quarter: Tesoro 10, Mater Dei 7

For better or worse, every touchdown pass started with Mater Dei quarterback Matt Barkley. Tesoro defensive back Preston King intercepted a Barkley pass and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown with 8:48 remaining in the first quarter.

On the next drive, Barkley found wide receiver Ario Winston wide open for a 62-yard touchdown pass to tie it with 6:08 remaining. Barkley’s stat line is a mixed bag: three for eight for 90 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.

Titans kicker Ian Seller made a 25-yard field goal with 1:20 remaining for the 10-7 lead.
