Mira Costa’s Kellen Lockwood swept to the left side for an 8-yard touchdown run. The extra point made it 7-0 with 51 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

The Mustangs are playing without senior running back Chris Loatman. Mira Costa’s leading rusher missed last week’s 28-14 quarterfinal victory over Downey Warren because of a twisted knee.
