The final minute of the first half has not been good for Narbonne. After Marquis Thompson of Crenshaw scored a touchdown with 47 seconds left, Noel Grigsby came up with an interception on the Crenshaw 48.

The Cougars, deciding they weren’t satisfied with a one-point lead, brought out their bag of tricks. Le’Jon Baker, a receiver, took a handoff and fired a 52-yard touchdown pass to Grigsby. The extra point failed for the fourth time, but Crenshaw has a 24-17 lead at halftime.
