Live blog: Saugus and St. Bonaventure tied 0-0 after one quarter

Tonight’s Northern Division football semifinal between top-seeded St. Bonaventure and Saugus is underway at Ventura High.

After both teams punted on their first possession the Seraphs drove to the Centurions’ 32-yard line but a fourth-and-10 pass from Logan Meyer to Zack Meyer gained only nine yards.

Saugus drove from its own 22-yard line to the Seraphs’ 34-yard line and will have a third-and-eight situation when the second quarter begins.
