Live blog: Seraphs strike quickly in Northern Division semifinal

Devon Blackledge capped a nine-play, 60-yard drive with a two-yard touchdown run and the ensuing extra point gave host St. Bonaventure a 7-0 lead over Saugus early in the second quarter of tonight’s Northern Division semifinal game at Ventura High.

After recovering a pooch kick at the Centurions’ 34-yard line, the Seraphs needed just four plays to score again on Patrick Hall’s two-yard run up the middle and just like that St. Bonaventure has a 14-0 lead 6:20 before halftime.
