Turnovers are killing Moorpark. Brady Rohach has thrown three interceptions in the first half, and not surprisingly, the Musketeers trail visiting St. Bonaventure, 28-0, at halftime of Friday’s Northern Division championship game.

Tim Bennett picked off a Rohach pass early in the second quarter and the Seraphs ended up capitalizing on the miscue when Devon Blackledge scored on a 52-yard touchdown run to give St. Bonaventure a 14-0 lead with 8:18 left.

On Moorpark’s following possession, Rohach threw another misguided pass, this time finding the Seraphs’ Dylan Davis. About a minute later, Logan Meyer found Isaiah Burton on a 10-yard pass play to increase the advantage to 21-0.

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, they did. Tanner Moe was unable to hold onto a Rohach pass and St. Bonaventure’s Troy Hill scooped up the deflection and took off 58 yards for another score.

Moorpark is in trouble.
