Live blog: Fourth-down success has Arleta ahead at half

Perhaps the most telling stat at halftime of tonight’s City Invitational football final is fourth down conversions.

Franklin is 0-for-0 while Arleta is 3-for-3, the last one being a 42-yard touchdown pass from Bryan Choto to Adrian Sandoval that gave the Mustangs a 15-8 lead.

Choto has completed 8 of 12 passes for 126 yards while Sandoval has five receptions for 76 yards.
Running back Omar Sanchez has 62 yards and one touchdown in eight carries.

For Franklin, quarterback Adrian Macias is 4 of 11 for 57 yards and Adrian Macias has rushed six times for 21 yards and has two receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Arleta is taking the field to receive the second half kickoff.
