The Catholic Athletic Assn. has a meeting scheduled for Monday to take a vote on the revamping of leagues in football for the 2010-11 season, and don’t be surprised to see Mission Alemany get moved from the Mission League into the Pac-5 Division Serra League with Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, Crespi, Bishop Amat and Loyola.

Another league could find Gardena Serra moving in with Harvard-Westlake, Chaminade, Cathedral, St. Francis and St. Paul.

The schools have pretty much decided they want to get rid of four-team leagues. Alemany, however, is going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the Pac-5. Schools can always appeal if they don’t like their placement.
