Boys’ basketball: Extravaganzas slated for Saturday

Several of the Southland’s top boys’ basketball teams will take part in a pair of one-day events Saturday.

The Pangos Dream Classic will be played at Long Beach City College. Top-ranked Mater Dei will take on Gahr in the final game of five, but the two games preceding that might be the best matchups of the day.

La Verne Lutheran vs. Brentwood, 3:30 p.m.
#11 Windward vs. #10 Leuzinger, 5 p.m.
#7 Dominguez vs. #5 Etiwanda, 6:30 p.m.
#1 Mater Dei vs. Gahr, 8 p.m.

Ticket prices are $12 for floor chair-back seating and $10 for general admission ($7 for students/seniors with ID). Parking is $1.
