High school basketball doesn’t get much better in Southern California than Saturday’s City Section Division I semifinal doubleheader at USC’s Galen Center.

It will be top-seeded Westchester taking on Cleveland at noon, followed by No. 2 Fairfax facing No. 3 Taft, the defending champion, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10. If you want to sit courtside, they’re $25.

USC fans will get to see future Trojans Renardo Sidney (Fairfax), Solomon Hill (Fairfax) and Dwayne Polee Jr. (Westchester).

Can Cleveland give Westchester much of a game? Probably not.

The Taft-Fairfax game ought to be a classic. Taft’s full-court pressure defense has to be effective or the Lions, with their size and rebounding strength, will be able to pull away.

But both games should be entertaining, featuring top coaches, elite players and programs that have been among the City’s best for years.
